MERIDIAN — The Miss Merry Meridian Pageant was held Sunday at the Elegance Ballroom Dance and Fitness Studio on Front Street in downtown Meridian. The winners are: Age 5-7 Queen: Meghan Stewart, a student at Scott Central Elementary School. Age 8-10 Queen: Amber Fant, a student at Clarkdale Elementary. Age 11-14 Queen: Chasity Williams, a student at West Lauderdale High School. Age 15-18 Queen: Destini Taylor, a student at Enterprise High School. The girls will serve as Christmas ambassadors for Meridian Main Street, which hosted the pageant as part of this year's Merry Meridian festivities. Optional awards were presented to Sophie Denton, Prettiest Hair; Jessica Earley, Most Beautiful; Rebekah Rhett, Prettiest Smile; and Raley Hillhouse, Prettiest Eyes.
