MERIDIAN —
Rebecca Sutton, 23, resided in Loveland, Colo., when she made a random decision to move from the mountains to Meridian to find a change of pace. She now lives with her grandmother and has been loving life in Meridian.
“I've been in Meridian for two glorious years,” Sutton said.
Sutton originally lived in Mississippi but moved to Colorado with her family when she was a child. She visited Mississippi to see family frequently before finally deciding on the move back south.
“I had no real reason for moving," Sutton said. "I just had this intuition that I needed to be down here.”
Shortly after moving to Meridian she learned the reason why she came.
“I always say Ethan was calling me down before I met him,” Sutton said.
Ethan White has been dating Sutton for several months before popping the question.
“He took me to Applebee's, which is where we went on our first date," Sutton said. "After we paid the check he got down on one knee and asked and I cried.”
Sutton says she wanted to marry Ethan ever since the first date. The couple is getting married on Sept. 14 of next year.
