MERIDIAN —
Two men are being sought by authorities of the Meridian Police Department after an armed robbery was reported at a local fast food restaurant Wednesday night.
Lt. Dean Harper with the MPD said Thursday the two men burst into the Subway restaurant on Highway 39 around 9:30 p.m. He said the female employee inside the restaurant ran into a bathroom and locked herself in when the two men came in. Harper said at least one of the men was armed.
Harper said the two men took money from the register and a cell phone then left the restaurant. The only description available to the police was that one of the men was wearing a red ski mask.
