Monster and Peavey partner with power

from staff reports

Monster Energy and Peavey Electronics provided the new, self-contained and mobile Monster Energy Stage for the Naval Air Station Meridian concert featuring Crossin Dixon, which features a 279,000-watt sound system from Peavey.

Every Peavey and Crest Audio sound component on the Monster Energy stage was designed and manufactured in Meridian or Decatur.

After the NAS concert, the Peavey-powered mobile stage will be used on the Crue Fest 2 tour featuring Motley Crue.

The stage is the first of two Peavey-powered mobile stages that Monster Energy Drink is putting on the road in 2009.

"Monster Energy and Peavey have built the ultimate rock & roll trojan horse for the masses,” stated Monster Energy's Brent Hamilton. “Peavey knew exactly what we envisioned and they delivered on all fronts.”

Peavey Versarray sound systems like the one installed on the Monster Energy Stage have been used on major concert tours such as Ozzfest, Tim McGraw and Mayhem

Crossin Dixon is a Peavey-endorsed country band made entirely of musicians native to Mississippi.

“Peavey is proud to support our servicemen and servicewomen whenever possible,” said Scott Mire, Marketing Manager of Peavey Electronics. "After road-testing the Versarray 212 sound system for the most demanding music fans on the continent, we are thrilled to get the opportunity to make the Monster Energy Stage the loudest show on the road."
