Authorities with the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday afternoon they are searching for two men in connection with a pair of home burglaries that occurred around noon Tuesday.
One of he suspects has been identified as Daveon Marshaun Hardy, 25, of 713 Victory Village in Meridian. LCSD Chief Dep. Ward Calhoun said he and another man who has yet to be identified are wanted on two counts of burglary to a dwelling.
"At around noon Tuesday, a homeowner who lives on Morgan Road west of Meridian came home for lunch and reportedly saw Hardy and another suspect running from the residence," said Calhoun. "We also believe these two individuals are responsible for another home burglary in the general area at about the same time."
Calhoun asks the public to help in providing information as to the whereabouts of Hardy and the identity of the second male suspect. If you have information pertaining to this incident you are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 601-485-1860.
