11:10 a.m. Man robs bank in Scooba

A lone black man is currently being sought by law enforcement authorities in connection with a bank robbery in Scooba.

According to officials with the Meridian Police Department, the suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash after he approached a teller with a handgun at one of the Scooba banklocations. He is said to have fled in a vehicle on Hwy. 45 North.

No description of the subject or getaway vehicle is available at this time.
