James Broadwater, a former minister from Flowood who recently announced that he will be running for the U.S. House 3rd Congressional District seat, which is being vacated by Chip Pickering, has now qualified in that race.
Broadwater, a Republican, released a statement saying that he will focus on stopping illegal immigration, keeping a strong military, and numerous other issues, including, "improving the ability of guys to provide the American dream for their families on a single paycheck."
