Pancake tickets available

MERIDIAN —     Tickets are still on sale for the 66th Annual Downtown Optimist Club's Pancake Jubilee to be held on Tuesday.

    Tickets are $5 each and ticket holders will get all the pancakes and sausage they can eat, all the milk and soda they can drink, and all the syrup and butter they can handle.

    The pancake jubilee will be held 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Temple Theater Ballroom, 2320, Eighth Street.

    The Optimist Club event raises money to support many area youth programs, including Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts, Junior Golf, Crestwood T-Ball, Wesley House Community Center, Cans for Kids, Salvation Army and Shop With a Cop.
