I am thankful to the Lord this Holiday season for the wonderful, caring people who live in Lauderdale and Clarke county in our Great State of Mississippi who make me feel good every day. I am an 80 year old handicapped person and some things are necessary for day to day living.
The most things that make me feel good are the people who treat me with kindness, attention, consideration, an awareness of my needs and NEVER, NEVER treat me like a worn out old woman. People who go the “extra mile, to make my life “FEEL GOOD”. I applaud the following list of people for making me feel good every day. 1. Dr. Joel Callahan, Sr., Diane, Sandra and Holly at Internal Medicine. 2. Jack, Robert, Obie, Kay and Clara at Queen City Medical. 3. Dr. Omonuwa, Maxine Puckett, Dudley, and everyone at Central Ms. Family Health Clinic. 4. Dr. Lock and the nurses on the ER night shift at Watkins Hospital in Quitman. 5. Debra and Judy at Magna Home Health. 6. The Pharmacy and everyone in all sections of the store at Fred’s in Quitman. 7. Tywanna and Asia, my mail carriers who help with all the many cards and funnies I mail to Shut-In’s. 8. James Barnhill at Southern Business in Meridian for securing supplies at a price I can afford for my computer and copy machine. 9. Wiley and Jane Avera who bring groceries and supplies from town and for cutting my grass each week knowing I have no money to pay them. 10. Marie Mosley who delivers my Meridian Star every day so I am able to keep up with whats happening locally and the world everywhere.
Of course my Brothers, Ben, Leroy, Eugene and Marion Collins and their families and my Sister Linda Barousse and “So many good friends.”
All these people make me FEEL GOOD and I am so thankful for all of them.
Thanks to The Meridian Star for the wonderful opportunity to express my appreciation for what makes me feel good.
