MERIDIAN —
Several schools, daycare centers and public facilities will be closed today because of a snow storm that moved in this morning.
The Mississippi Department of Transportation has also issued a winter weather warning statewide and is warning motorists to drive slowly and watch for ice on bridges and overpasses.
The following is a partial list of closings and delayed openings:

• MCC has canceled the Arts & Letters production for tonight.
• MSU-Meridian's College Park and downtown locations open at 10 a.m.
