MERIDIAN —
Mississippi University for Women President Jim Borsig will be the guest of honor and speaker during a meeting of the MUW Alumni Association in Meridian Tuesday.
The event, to be held at Northwood Country club, 4300 Country Club Drive, begins at 5:30 p.m. with hospitality and a cash bar. A seated dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
Admission is $20 payable by cash or check at the door. Participants do not have to be members of the country club to attend.
Borsig, the 14th president of MUW, just finished his first year in office. He was appointed to the post Nov. 30, 2011.
