Police search for missing man

MERIDIAN —     The Meridian Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a man who has been reported as missing.

    James C. Hanks, 52, was last seen Friday at about 9 a.m. while walking to Wal-Mart from 33rd Avenue and Valley Street, according to a police press release.

    Hanks was wearing black pants, a gray T-shirt and an Army coat. Hanks is a mental patient who is not on his medication, according to the press release.

    Anyone with information about Hanks' whereabouts is asked to call the Meridian Police Department at 601-484-6839.
