MERIDIAN —
The Meridian Police Department is searching for a man feared to be in decreasing health due to his not being on his medications for several days.
According to MPD officials, Skyler Jackson, a mental patient from the Group Halfway House in Meridian, is not known to be violent but they said he may become more and more a danger to himself the longer he is without his medications so authorities want to find Jackson as soon as possible.
Jackson is described as a 23-year-old black male who stands 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has light brown skin. He is thought to be wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and flip flops.
Jackson was last seen Monday at the CEFCO Convenience store located at 14th Street and 24th Avenue. Clerks at the store reported to authorities that Jackson seemed nervous and jumpy.
Jackson was reported missing June 16. He has a brother who lives in the area but authorities said Jackson has not tried to contact his brother.
If anyone has seen Jackson they are urged to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at (601) 485-1860.
