Meridian Community College brings another Arts & Letters Series production to the McCain Theater on the MCC campus tonight.
The Christmas Gala begins at 7 p.m. This is the first-ever joint concert venture featuring the MCC Chorus and Guitar Ensemble, said Leia Hill, coordinator of the Arts & Letters Series.
“The night will be filled with seasonal sounds of joy and celebration as these well-rehearsed ensembles share their skills and musical excellence,” Hill said.
The MCC Chorus, under the direction of Twyla Hurst and Tammy Miles, and the MCC Guitar Ensemble, directed by Mitch Brantley, perform not only in competitions but in community venues.
After the concert, audience members are encouraged to sample desserts and hot beverages provided by Mark Chandler and students in the Hotel Restaurant Management Technology program.
The event is free of charge and suitable for audiences of all ages.
