MERIDIAN —
A 23-year-old woman who was reported missing and had not been seen since Saturday contacted relatives Tuesday to say she was alright.
Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said Tuesday afternoon Christy Sartin called her mother after media reports that she was listed as missing.
"She called her mom, we don't know from where, but the point is that she is OK and not in any trouble," said Calhoun.
Authorities with the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department issued a bulletin for people to be on the lookout for Sartin who has been reported missing. Sartin, was last seen in Meridian Saturday. Sartin is from Collinsville.
