MERIDIAN — Air Force Airmen Cordarius R. Coleman and Robert A. McNamara graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Coleman is the son of Gail Coleman of W. Gate Hills in Meridian.
Coleman is a 2009 graduate of Meridian High School.
McNamara is the son of Tommy McNamara of Causeyville Road, and Barbara McNamara of Mini Farm Road, both of Meridian.
McNamara is a 2009 graduate of Clarkdale High School, Meridian.
