2012 AKA Fashionetta program tonight

MERIDIAN —     Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Omicron Beta Omega Chapter, in partnership with the Service to Mankind (STM) Foundation Inc., will present its annual scholarship fundraiser program Fashionetta 2012 tonight at the C.E. Oatis Council of Organizations Building, 814 45th Ave.

    Fashionetta is the annual fundraising program for the Omicron Beta Omega chapter. Profits from the fundraising program fund scholarships for high school seniors in east Mississippi and west Alabama. “Precious Pearls: Poised and Preparing for Leadership” is the theme for this year’s event, which will highlight the talents of 14 young ladies and their escorts.  

    Tickets are $10, adults; $5, students. Tickets may be purchased from any Fashionetta 2012 participant, sorority members and at the door at the night of the program.
