MERIDIAN —
The area's first shooting competition hosted by S.E.R.T. Training will take place at Battlefield Shooting Range in Collinsville Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
The range is located at 512 George Road.
Titled the Zombie Shootout, the event is open to anyone who wants to join in the competition, as well as for spectators to come and watch the fun. There will be zombie targets and even “walkers” wandering the area!
Competitors can register in advance by calling 601-482-8892. The competitor fee is $35, and spectators can come for free. There will be food and refreshments available for purchase.
There will be a division for men, ladies and youth. The adult divisions are a two gun competition (handgun and AR) and the youth division will be for .22 rifle. Each contestant must provide their own ammunition.
