MERIDIAN — Trudy displays a spring in her step Tuesday afternoon during play time at Bonita Lakes Recreation Park. Joella Cumbie, left, and Toni Cumbie, both of Little River, Ala., decided to take advantage of the warm, breezy first day of spring and let Trudy get her exercise. Another sign of spring is that the dogwoods are in full bloom throughout East Mississippi and around the upper Bonita Lakes Recreation Park.
