MERIDIAN —
Few details were available Sunday of a high speed chase Saturday night involving three law enforcement agencies.
Officers with the Neshoba County Sheriff's Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol and Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department worked together to apprehend the suspect, who was arrested after his car was disabled on Highway 19 near Collinsville.
"We assisted in putting spike strips out," Lauderdale County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said Sunday afternoon.
The man jumped out of his car and ran from officers after the spike strips flattened his tires, but was quickly caught and arrested, Calhoun said.
On Sunday the man's identity was not available. Details about the chase and the reason the man fled from officers was also not available.
