MERIDIAN —
Meridian police are investigating two separate weekend incidents.
The first, an armed robbery at the Cefco Station on Highway 39 North. According to Lt. Dean L. Harper, chief of detectives, Criminal Investigations Division, at 11:45 p.m. Friday, two masked men robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured, Harper said.
The second incident occurred Saturday night – a drive-by shooting at 16th Avenue and 18th Street, which left one person shot in the leg.
"The victim stated that they did not know who shot them," Harper said.
The victim went to a local hospital for treatment.
