Tyree M. Braden of Memphis, Tenn., has written two books through his Four Walls production company. They are available through his website, fourwallsproduction.com.
His first book is titled "Four Walls: Tragedy and Heartbreak." His second book is titled "Four Walls: The Truth, The Lies, The Betrayal."
Braden, the youngest of four children, was born and raised in Meridian by his mother.
"I spent a lot of time in the streets; didn't really hang out with a lot of people. As I look back on my life now I think I did it because I didn't have a father figure in my life. My mother did what she could for us, but raising four boys by yourself is hard for anybody," Braden writes of his life.
"Through everything I went through growing up, writing has always been my outlet. I started writing when I was 10. I started out telling jokes of my family, then stories. As I got older I started doing little comedy skits for people in the hood."
After moving to Memphis, Braden says he became more dedicated to his writing.
Braden's books examine the behind-the-scene lives of three Southern couples, and take the reader on a journey through the secrets revolving around them.
