MERIDIAN —
The Meridian Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing teenage girl believed to be a runaway.
Sandra Betteron, 17, was last seen Thursday at 4 p.m. near Meridian High School wearing a red shirt and blue jeans, according to a police report. She was carrying a blue purse with a brown strap and western metal designs on the front.
She is described as a white female standing 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 161pounds. According to the police report, Betterton has bump on the side of her nose that is "very red."
Anyone with information about Betterton's whereabouts is asked to call the Meridian Police Department at 601-484-6839.
Another teenage girl, Lateisha Adams, 17, who was reported missing Wednesday, has been found.
