MERIDIAN —
The East Central Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its annual meeting Thursday at the chapter office, located at 1820 23rd Ave., at 11:30 a.m.
The chapter will hold it's annual business meeting and nominate it's officers for FY 2012 during the meeting.
Chapter Manager Alecia Crawford said the scheduled guest speaker for the meeting, which is open to the public, is state CEO for Mississippi American Red Cross, Sandra Hodge.
The East Central Chapter of the American Red Cross is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides services in 15 counties. The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters, supports military families and offers health and safety courses such as CPR, AED and water safety courses.
