Meridian police investigate drive-by shooting

MERIDIAN —     Meridian police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred before midnight Sunday in the 800 block of Rubush Avenue.

    According to Lt. Dean L. Harper, chief of detectives, Criminal Investigations Division, a house and two cars were shot into during the incident.

    "No one was hit," Harper said, adding that Meridian police are following up on evidence collected.
