MERIDIAN —
Detectives with the Meridian Police Department are searching for two men who on the night of Sept. 6 allegedly broke into a home and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.
"We have not made any arrests and the investigation is ongoing," Reed said Tuesday afternoon. "We encourage the residents in the area of this incident to help us with any information they may have."
Reed said the victims reported two black males armed with handguns came into their house at about 8:40 p.m. and robbed them of their money.
The victims, who were not harmed during the incident, said the two men then fled on foot. The incident reportedly took place at a residence located in the 2400 block of 25th Street.
The two suspects were described only as black males in their late teens or early twenties dressed in dark clothing.
The incident is being investigated as an armed robbery, home invasion case.
