MERIDIAN —
Members of the Causeyville Community Development Club organizing and preparing for delivery supplies collected for a local veterans service office, the Causeyville Community Development Club held its regular monthly meeting on Nov. 5, 2012, with Lynda Irby presiding. The minutes for the previous meeting was read and approved, and the financial statement presented and approved.
The main project for the November meeting was putting together and preparing for delivery, supplies gathered for a local veteran’s service office – completing a project begun in October. Our veterans have given so much, and club members were grateful for the opportunity to say thank you in some small way.
In other business, the club voted to give a donation to the Salvation Army. The meeting adjourned with a prayer of Thanksgiving.
The next meeting will be held Dec. 3.
