MERIDIAN — Final plans for the upcoming Sponsors Supper were discussed at the February meeting of the Causeyville Community Development Club. The club met in the home of Lynda Irby, president.
The annual supper is scheduled for March 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the club house. Also discussed was the 2009 Awards Night. Members were pleased with everything, including awards the club received.
Irby called the meeting to order. Devotional was presented by Joan Culpepper, and the minutes and financial statement were presented by Mattie Downey.
A motion was made and carried for the club's regular meeting to be held the first Monday night of the month, starting in April.
After the meeting, refreshments were served by Irby and Lillian Carpenter and members engaged in a time of fellowship.
