William F. (Bill) Jones was a great man. He was a good husband and he dearly loved and adored his wife of 66 years. He dearly and unconditionally loved his son, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren and his great great grandchild.
He did a lot for his loved ones during his 86 years of life. He was the kind of man who would help his family and friends and ask nothing in return. If someone needed a ride, he was there, it did not matter the time, day or night. If someone needed money, and he had it, he would give it to them. If someone needed something to eat, he would feed them. He worked hard for his family, until his health would no longer allow him to do so. He also served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II.
He loved and served God and made no secret of it. He was never ashamed of his faith and always made it know that he was a Christian man with decency and compassion. When he passed away on Friday April 3, 2009 he was deeply mourned, but we found comfort in knowing that he is now and heaven, and enjoying all of the rewards that had awaited him there.
The love and appreciation people had for him was proven when a good Christian person anonymously donated the $895 for the opening and closing of his grave. We thank that person from the bottom of our hearts for his/her kindness and generosity. We would also like to thank all of the friends and non immediate family who gave monetary gifts, your kindness and warm heartedness allowed us to pay the remaining expenses that the insurance did not cover for the funeral.
We were blessed to have the good people from Community Hospices Of America and the home health agency who helped to care for our loved one. They did a great job and we thank them very much.
God Bless You All!
