Please return our dog

I hope that you will publish this email because we are very saddened about what I am going to tell you. This past weekend, my husband and I along with our two sons went for a walk. When we returned, our 7 month old full blooded boxer, Lucky, was gone. While we know he got out of the yard himself, we also know it isn't like him to not return when he is called.

We searched the neighborhood around our house with no results and at this point we believe someone may have taken him. This dog was a Christmas gift to our oldest son and he is upset that his dog is missing. Therefore, we are asking for people to please be on the lookout for our dog, and if you have him, please just return him. No questions asked. He is a brown and white boxer bulldog, with a black snout and a small white speck on the back of his neck. He was wearing a black spiked leather collar, with a MSU ID tag with his name and our address on it. We live near Valley Road and believe this is probably where he wondered off and probably where someone would have picked him up if they found him. We would offer an award, but after my youngest son just spent 2 weeks in the NICU after his birth, we really don't have the money to do this.

Please, if you have our dog just return him. We won't ask any questions. This is a child's dog and we know no one would want us to take their pet from them our their child.
