Common Sense vs. Education

Gov. Haley Barbour: Governor, I shook your hand on the two occasions of your campaign for governor of Mississippi. I do pride myself as having the ability to pretty well judge another person’s personality and I gathered from talking with you that I might be able to put you on the same IQ as that of my good friend Gov. Kirk Fordice (God rest his soul). You’re not being able to operate as he did, put the black ink in place, make some drastic changes in some of your choices of appointing people to serve and make responsible judgments. What level do you judge a person when you make these very important appointments? It is very evident of your poor judgment in placing Jones on the parole board. It’s true that she was very good at getting her name in the news right when there was a fundraising or some other socializing event. Governor, as a retired business owner of 50 years, I did in fact hire and fire many. It was my call solely. I urge, along with many others that have voiced their opinions about this matter, it is time you cut her loose. I’ll still be your reb-friend.
