Disappointed with newspaper cartoon

What a disappointment to see such a demeaning cartoon in last Saturday's paper. It was sick and unworthy for publication in our paper or any other paper for that matter. The editorial staff of the Meridian Star should use better judgement in what they print.

One thing from the so called cartoon was apparent, the button on the shark reading "MEDIA," certainly describes the way the media has been attacking the "family" of Sarah Palin.

President Truman (D) told the press to stay away from his daughter in no certain words and the same should apply today to Ms Palin's family. Let's keep the trash out of "our paper."
