I am writing this in response to the lady’s article entitled “Doubt Vick’s Problems Stem from Anything ‘Cultural’,” published in Sunday’s The Meridian Star, Sept. 9, 2007.
Hooray for you! Dogfighting and the abuse and brutal killings of dogs is done by “sick” individuals who have no compassion for a living thing. They are eager for blood and get a pleasure out of seeing something suffer. This is done by the kind of person someone is, not because of what part of the country they come from. This is definitely not a “cultural” thing. By the way, I, too, would like to know when Virginia became known as the “Deep, Deep” South.
