Pleasantly plump

Mississippi recently claimed the distinction of having the largest number of people who are fat, finally attaining the ultimate distinction of completing the famous “laid-back” triad, already having been recognized as the most “dumb and happy” (I’m from Mississippi and I resemble this remark).

Here’s my view!
I spoke at the last Meridian City Council meeting concerning pay for city employees. My intent was to inform the council that many city employees are not being paid equitable salaries. The clerk of the council and other city employees deserve to be paid a competitive salary.
