I live in Magnolia Courts and there is sewage in my backyard, and my sink has been stopped up for 2 weeks. I need help from the Meridian Housing Authority. I have a daughter that is disabled, and one with severe asthma. I have had a problem with the Housing Authority since July 2009 with this problem. I report problems and no one comes to fix them. My apartment flooded in July; luckily I was blessed to have renters insurance but, the Housing Authority will not give me my $500 dollar deductible, and the problem is still going on. I have pictures, and everything written down. Since the flood the sink has stopped up 3 times. I really need help.

Here’s my view!
I spoke at the last Meridian City Council meeting concerning pay for city employees. My intent was to inform the council that many city employees are not being paid equitable salaries. The clerk of the council and other city employees deserve to be paid a competitive salary.
