A note of thanks

A simple note. I'm writing to say thanks to the Meridian Police Department. While in the  city recently, I happened upon a problem of sorts. And so I invited some official help. We often feel as if the police are only concerned with placing folks under arrest ... a nd having them in the clink. But Lt. Sparks was very nice. And yes, Lt., you went beyond the call of duty. And you were of much assistance. Corp. Everette, a younger man, was also on a duty. Thank you too.

I also appreciate a private detective – known only as James. Very fast on your feet, man! Ha!

Well, we all have a job to do. After all – we’ve got to survive. But before we talk, let’s remember to recon one thing. The police, both private and public, are all there to defend, help, and serve the people.
