Folks, if you missed seeing the "Nashville Songwriters" recently, you really missed a treat. These guys were great and they put on a wonderful show at the Temple Theater. The cost was only $10. The next show will be today and I hope each one of you will be able to attend this event. Some time ago I went to see Lyle Lovette at another facility and I paid $75 (and got to sit behind a wooden pole with my legs against the seat in front of me) and that show could not even be compared to the one I watched at the Temple. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a poor 2 with the show at the Temple being a resounding 9.
It is my understanding that the "Nashville Songwriters" will be a monthly event at the Temple for the rest of the year.

Here’s my view!
I spoke at the last Meridian City Council meeting concerning pay for city employees. My intent was to inform the council that many city employees are not being paid equitable salaries. The clerk of the council and other city employees deserve to be paid a competitive salary.
