Have you ever wondered what God means when HE wrote in Ezekiel 38 that in the last days of the gentiles that Israel will be invaded by armies from the north? And the young lions of Tarshish, colonies of England who do business with Sheba and Dedan, Saudi Arabia, will sit back and the West as a young lion from America will say have you come to take a spoil, to take goods, to take gold and silver and to defeat Israel? Some believe that the coalition named in the first few verses that will invade Israel will be Russia, Iran, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya and Turkey.
And you question that we, the western hemisphere, will ask, have you come to take a spoil? But we have always defended Israel. We have always given foreign aid to Israel. We have always supplied technology and weaponry to Israel. Yet, we will ask, have you come to take a spoil?
The fact is that the US ranks second behind the European Union, in (GDP)Gross Domestic Product. America is printing money so fast that our dollar is dying on the world market. The FEDS are trying to control inflation yet, the price of food, oil and energy is soaring. We are planning to spend money we do not have for everything from controlling interest in the banks to revamping health care. We are giving our senior citizens $250 stimulus money this year and the government will take the pay raise or cost of living increase of $1,000 more or less from the seniors for 2010 and maybe 2011.
WE, AS A NATION, ARE BROKE and we cannot fight another war due to finance, due to troop strength and do to a lack of resolve. As an end result we will say as a Nation to the invading army of Israel, HAVE YOU COME TO TAKE A SPOIL?
