MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Possession of cocaine — Antonio R. Ball, 35, 1427 35th Ave., Meridian.

    • Attempt to obtain controlled substance by fraud — Laurie Castle-Tidwell, 44, 2924 Hwy. 512, Quitman.

    • Domestic violence — Laqueena Y. Harrington, 27, 1213 17th St., Meridian.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Stevie A. Jackson, 55, 93 Lullie Scott Ln, Preston.

    • Disorderly conduct — Aketi L Sims (Washington), 42, 610 30th Ave., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Burglary

    • 4500 block 35th Ave.

    • 2300 block 46th Ave.

    • 3000 block 45th Ave.

    • 7100 block Hwy. 80 W.

    Auto burglary

    • 3600 block 23rd Ave.



Lauderdale County Sheriff's       Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Possession of methamphetamine — Christopher D. Barnes, 35, 1980 Old Wire Rd., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Christopher A. Butler, 31, 4892 S. L. Wilson Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — David M. Joles, 43, 9132 Joles Rd., Lauderdale.

    • Possession of methamphetamine — Melissa D. Rawson, 34, 3929 Chunky Duffee Rd., Chunky.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Kenneth A. Young Jr., 19, 463 Murphy Rd., Meridian.

     Clarification: The Randy B. Thompson, 34, 342 Branch Estates Rd., who was arrested for possession of marijuana is not the same person as Randy Boyd Thompson, 27, 4001 50th St., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Theft

    • 9000 block Hwy. 493

    DUI

    • Serton Rd., Lauderdale.



Mississippi Highway Patrol

    

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  



    • Unauthorized burning, 32nd Ave.

    • Vehicle accident, 14th St.

    • Gas leak, 10th St.

    

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • EMS, East Cook Rd. (Lauderdale)

    • EMS, Pamelia Dr. (Toomsuba)

    • EMS, Wilson Rd. (Bailey)

    

Ambulance Runs



    Metro Ambulance reported 39 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. Tuesday.
