    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Public drunk — Jessie J. Collins, 54, 5404 First St., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Theft

    • 4900 block 14th Street

    Assault

    • 4400 block 20th Street

    Burglary

    • 2000 block 44th Avenue



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Public drunk — Jimmie L. Hull, 44, 125 58th Ave., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Joseph L. Johnson, 43, 314 Fifth Ave., Meridian.

    • False pretense — Trenard L. Johnson, 27, 7012 County Road 16, Shubuta.

    • Simple assault — Harvey J. Raines, 52, 2232 Long Creek Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Elvis J. Rush Jr., 47, 3810 Paulding St., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Theft

    • 3200 block Russell Mt. Gilead Road, Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 2600 block Highway 19 SE., Meridian.

    • 9500 block Highway 493, Bailey.

    Stolen vehicle

    • 3400 block Yachtsman Drive, Toomsuba.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
