MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:



    • Disorderly conduct/Failure to obey law enforcement officer – William J. Bennett, 33, 600 Pippins Road, Meridian. Bennett is also charged with disturbance of family.

    • Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Meagen Brown, 25, 8095 Highway 493, Meridian. Brown is also charged with driving with an expired tag.

    • Underage consumption – Jecory Bernard Hudson, 18, 1209 Sixth St., Meridian.

    • DUI, second offense – LaToya Parker, 29, 4775 C A Pickard Road, Meridian. Parker is also charged with providing false information (two counts), driving with a suspended license, violation of insurance card in vehicle law, disregard of traffic device and contempt of court.

    • Contributing to the delinquency of a minor – Terrance Terrell Robinson, 21, 4165 Old Eight St. Road, Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 12:01 a.m. Thursday and 11:59 p.m. Thursday:



Residential Burglary

     • 200 block of 25th Avenue, daytime

    • 600 block of 57th Avenue, nighttime

    • 3400 block of 13th Street, nighttime



Commercial Burglary

    • 3700 block of Seventh Street, nighttime



Auto Burglary

    • 3700 block of Valley, nighttime



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:



    • Disorderly conduct/Failure to obey law enforcement officer – Melton Wade Boutwell, 42, 5429 Causeyville Road, Meridian.

    • Sale of cocaine, two counts – LaSandra Denise Harris, 34, 7879 Lauderdale-Toomsuba Road, Meridian.

    • Bad check-felony (third or subsequent offense of $100 or more), two counts – Jeanette Mesadieu, 41, 1551 47th Ave., Meridian.

    • Telephone harassment – Cierra M. Scruggs, 22, 4695 A Valley Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana in vehicle – Merzengo Thedford, 39, 1517 22nd Ave. Heights, Meridian. Thedford is also charged with DUI, first offense, driving with a suspended license, violation of insurance in vehicle law.

    • Failure to pay (Justice Court) – Takara S. Williams, 24, 107 71st Place 142, Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:

    Intoxicated Subject    

    • 5400 Causeyville Road, Meridian

    • 2100 Knox Road, Meridian

    The Mississippi Department of Corrections reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday:



    • Probation violation – Leslie Lee Young, 47, 527 Murphy Road, Meridian.
