MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    • DUI — Jeffrail D. Carothers, 21, 264 Fox Ave., Philadelphia.

    • Simple assault — Jonathan Davis, 20, 103 Norton Lane, York, AL.

    • Begging — Charlotte James, 46, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Lequenace V. Odoms, 34, 1909 19th St., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Emmanuel J. Wooten, 18, 803 29th St., Meridian.

    

    The Meridian Police Department reported these incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    Theft

    • 2000 block 19th Avenue

    • 2100 block 11th Avenue

    • 1000 block 29th Avenue

    • 100 block 38th Street

    Stolen vehicle

    • 1000 block Highway 39 By-pass

    Auto burglary

    • 2400 block Highway 39 North

    Burglary

    • 900 block Highway 19 North

    • 5100 block Druid Lane

    • 4200 block 37th Street

    • 3600 block 44th Street

            

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    • Failure to pay child support — James R. Davidson, 30, 9389 Pleasant Ridge Road, Collinsville.

    • Possession of marijuana — Jamie L. Earl, 23, 4246 46th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — William R. Johnson, 55, 2132 New Hope Road, Needham, Ala.

    • DUI — Jason D. Price, 38, 2821 Stratford Road, Birmingham, Ala.

    • B — Rodriques Toole, 35, 803 64th Ave., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    Burglary

    • 3900 Highway 11/80, Lauderdale.

    • 300 block Hickory Place, Meridian.

    DUI

    • Highway 145, Meridian.

    • Eighth Street and 42nd Avenue, Meridian.

    • Highway 45 North, Meridian.

 

Mississippi Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.    



    • Vehicle accident, Old Eighth Street Road

    • Brush fire, 13th Avenue

    • Electrical wiring equipment problem, Rollingwood Drive     

      

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported no emergency runs.

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 34 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
