The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday:



• Contempt of court – Charlikis Keeton, 30, 7100 Old Highway 80 West, Apt. B3. Keeton is also charged with failure to produce a driver's license, driving with an expired tag and disregard for a traffic device.

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI), first offense – Billy Eason, 24, 5962 A. York Road, Lauderdale. Eason is also charged with driving without proof of insurance and speeding.

• DUI, first offense (other) – Shelly Renee Bernstein, 22, 2629 Myrtlewood Drive. Bernstein is also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, driving without insurance and driving with one headlight.

• DUI, second offense – Enis Naylor, age unavailable, Rte.1, Box 188, Porterville. Naylor is also charged with violation of noise ordinance.



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 5 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday:



• Driving Under the Influence (DUI), second offense – John W. Wesson, 48, 3 Byrd St., Newton. Wesson is also charged with careless driving, no proof of insurance and driving with a suspended license.



Fire runs



The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following runs for Oct. 9-10:



• Emergency Medical Service (EMS) – Highway 39 North (Northeast/Marion)

• Fire alarm – Hand Road (Martin/Collinsville)

• Structure fire – Jeffery Acres (Clarkdale/Long Creek/South)

• EMS – Jeffery Acres Road (Long Creek)



Ambulance runs



Metro Ambulance reported 16 runs from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
