Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported no suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday:

• Contempt of court — Henry L.. Goodwin, 46, 2441 37th Avenue

• Contempt of court — Terrance Brewster, 18, 2110 Knotts Road



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday:

• Receiving stolen property — Michael Sylvester Jones, 45, 5611 Fred Haguewood Road

• Driving Under the Influence (DUI) first offense — Daniel L. Cummings, 31, 5019 24th Place

• Contempt of court three counts — Keith Marshall, 38, 265 Sunflower Road, Scooba

• Grand larceny more than $500 — Kenya Deon Irving, 34, 5552 Highway 513, Stonewall

• EMS — King Road

• EMS — 27th Avenue

• EMS — 47th Avenue

• EMS — 25th Avenue

• Canceled en route — 11th Street

• Motor vehicle accident — I 20

• Gas leak — Old Marion Road

• Canceled en route — 32nd Street

• Overheated motor — 41st Street



The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments did not report any fire runs.



Ambulance runs



Metro Ambulance reported 30 runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
