Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.



• Embezzlement — Aykeya Nyguel McDonald, 609 Beaver Creek Road, Newton

• Grand larceny more than $500 — Lewis Charles Mitchell, 46, 520 Martin Luther King Drive. Mitchell is also charged with fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle.



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.



• Disturbance of a family — Jerry W. Boudreaux, 54, 5343 16th Avenue. Boudreaux is also charged with disorderly conduct failure to obey a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

• Driving under the influence (DUI) first offense — Tyrone Stephens, 31, 8688 Johnny Bailey Drive.

• Probation violation — Latoyia Monic Payton, 26, 29 Johnson Road, Toomsuba

• Contempt of court four counts — Erica Desha Smith, 21, 3489 Blue Top Road Lot G. Smith is also charged with malicious mischief, vandalism.

• Failure to pay child support — Timothy Roy McDonald, 39, 2518 31st Ave.

The Meridian Police Department issued the following incident report for Nov. 7-8.



Auto Burglaries:

• 1000 block of 36th Street, window entry, money stolen, night time

• 1000 block of 2nd Street S, door entry, meds stolen, night time



Residential Burglary:

• 2000 block of 45th Street, garage entry, gold cart, day time



Vandalism:

• 1000 block of Country Club Drive, car window broken, night time

• 6000 block of Semmes Road, vehicle defacement, night time

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department issued the following incident report for Nov. 8.

• Vehicle accident — 65th Avenue

• Vehicle fire — Valley Road

• Vehicle accident — Highway 39 North and North Hills Street

• False alarm — 45th Street

• Grass fire — Dee’s Road (Vimville)

• Structure fire — Confederate Drive (Marion, Northeast, and Russell)

• Fire alarm — Eagle Point Drive (Northeast)

• EMS — Shiloh-Vimville Road (Causeyville)



Ambulance Runs



Metro Ambulance made 45 runs from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. Friday.
