Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



• Shoplifting — Andrew Inge, 60, 205 North Hills St., Meridian.

• Simple assault — Demetrius J. Clark, 22, 5668 Cooper Circle, Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana — James C. Tidmore, 22, 138 Jeffery Acres, Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana — Earl Smith, 24, 1212 36th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana — Michael R. Durham, 34, 5309 Mini Farm Rd, Meridian.

• Simple assault — Eric L. Tinsley, 23, 4211 Hooper St., Meridian.

• Domestic violence — Jessie L. Smith, 36, 2514 43rd Ave., Meridian.

• Domestic violence — Jeffery L. Toles, 35, 2813 Edgewood Dr., Meridian.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

• Failure to pay justice court — Johnny L. Bolden, 57, 319 Rubush Ave., Meridian.

• Probation violation — Demetria A. Brown, 42, 200 N. Hills St., Meridian.

• Felony fleeing — Demarcus L. Davis, 19, 302 59th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana — Dakota L. Graham, 23, 444 Coleman Circle, Lisman, AL.
