Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

    • Malicious mischief — Herbert Ashford, 27, 1925 25th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Marshall Emerson, 29, 1814 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Willie J. Croft, 32, 5354 8th St. Ext., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Maurice Watts, 21, 231 Pace St., Jackson.

    • Public drunk — Maurice Dawson, 35, Highway Village Housing Complex, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Marzell Davis Jr., 20, 4023 26th St., Meridian.  



The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.



    Assault

    • 2100 block 1st Ave.

    • 900 block 16th St.

    • 2400 block 6th St.

    • 1700 block 14th St.

   Auto burglary

    • 3700 block Oakdale Ave.

    Theft

    • 2400 block Hwy. 19 N.

    • 2300 block 32nd St.

    Burglary

    • 2800 block N. Myrthwood Dr.

    • 400 block 55th Ave.

    • 1400 block 23rd St.

    Stolen vehicle

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Disturbance — Stephen P. Bolen, 46, 6484 Causeyville Clark Rd., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Christopher A. Butler, 28, 2344 Shirley Cir., Toomsuba.

    • Felony DUI — Timothy D. Griffin, 31, 4021 40th Ave., Meridian.    

• Sale of marijuana — Richard L. Harris, 25, 335 Springhill Rd., Meridian.

    • Embezzlement — Tavicka S. Herlong, 31, 180 Hidden Lakes, Macon, GA.

    • Telephone harassment — Elizabeth A. McCary, 34, 9010 Hwy. 493, Bailey.

    • Possession of methamphetamine — Tona W. McDaniel, 52, 1-42 Sam Lackey Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — Jessica L. McDermott, 22, 361 Larry Hurtt Rd., Bailey.

    • Simple assault — Roger Pate, 48, 1861 Frasier Grove Rd., Bailey.

    • Felony vandalism — Dominique Tubbs, 17, 2704 Valley Rd., Meridian.

    • School bus interference — Lebran P. Ulysses, 33, 4230 Old Homestead Rd., Meridian.

    Retraction: There was a booking error on Eric T. Brown on 11/1/09. He was not arrested on that day for insurance, seatbelt, dui, poss. of marijuana.  

    

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    

    • Vehicle accident, Hawkins Crossing Rd. & Hwy. 11 & 80.

    • False call, N. Hills St. & Firemans Cut Off.
