Meridian Police Department



The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



• Possession of marijuana — Demarcus L. Davis, 19, 302 59th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of counterfeit substance — Michael D. Lewis, 36, 929.5 38th Ave., Meridian.

• Fugitive from justice — Thomas J. Seale, 27, 1206 Broach Rd., Daleville.



The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.



Theft

• 1800 block Old Marion Rd.

• 2300 block 32nd St.

• 3200 block Parkway Blvd.

Burglary

• 1500 block 50th Ave.

Assault

Stolen vehicle

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 9 a.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.



• Vehicle theft — George J. Barnett, 58, 25 Cotton Rd., Vossburg.

• Domestic violence — Matthew R. Buckalew, 25, 257 Fairchild Rd., Meridian.

• Sale of marijuana — Calvin Hall Jr., 26, 2232 42nd Ave., Meridian.

• Domestic violence — William B. Johnson, 24, 5990 Graham Rd., Meridian.

• Probation violation — Willie R. Love, 44, 1513 25th Ave, Russell.

• DUI — Louin Mabry Jr., 43, 3634 Kay Dr., Lauderdale.

• Telephone harassment — Laura E. Tanner, 45, 200 Caroline Dr., Stonewall.

• Credit card fraud — Keyanna L. Williams, 28, 6300 Old Canton Rd., Jackson.
