MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    • Domestic violence — Lee A. Dunnigan, 47, 1934 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Joe A. Griffin, 54, 4009 Fifth St., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Christina Marsh, 25, 2016 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Pamela S. Norris, 55, 1126 Aycock Road, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Cordarro Tingle, 25, 56th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Jaquarius Dunnigan, 18, 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Felon in possession of a firearm — Rodrico D. Hill, 41, 49th Ave., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    Burglary

    • 1300 block 31st Avenue

    • 800 block 28th Avenue



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    • Disturbing the peace — Katrina R. McGrew, 39, 2570 County Road 130, Quitman.

    • Failure to pay child support — Karmetrick L. Sims, 30, 7095 Lizelia Road, Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    Burglary

    • Hwy. 496 / Sam Hurt Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 5500 block Harve Chatham Road, Meridian.



Mississippi Highway Patrol



     Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.   



    • Building fire, 29th Avenue

    • Medical Assist, 25th Avenue

    • Smoke or odor removal, 26th Avenue

    • Building fire, First Street

    • False alarm, Highway 39 North

    • Service call, First Street

    • Vehicle accident, Poplar Springs Drive

    • Outside rubbish fire, 46th Avenue

    • Heat from short, 59th Place     



    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs.



    • EMS, Old Country Club East (Marion)

    • EMS, Cedar Street (Suqualena)

    • EMS, Gowdy Road (Lauderderdale, Toomsuba)

    • Assist other agency, Russell Mt. Gilead Road (Russell, Toomsuba)

    • Traffic accident, Highway 145 (Clarkdale)

    • EMS, Ross Drive (Collinsville)

    • EMS, Griggs Road (Vimville)

    • Traffic accident, Rob Sims Road (Southeast)

    • EMS, Townsend Byrd Road (Martin)

    • EMS, Swearington Road (Collinsville)

    • Grass fire, Sandflat Road (Southeast)



Ambulance Runs



    Metro Ambulance reported 38 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 3 p.m. Thursday.
