MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Burglary — Verma J. Brown, 50, 2012 34th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault on police officer — Cedric L. Garbutt, 35, 7703 Lauderdale Toomsuba Rd., Toomsuba.

    • Burglary — Johnny W. Schrimpshire, 64, 4815 Pacific St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Tony L. Stanton, 19, 5600 Valley St., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Ryan A. Watson, 27, 427 33rd Ave., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Burglary

    • 1000 block Bragg Avenue

    • 3800 block Seventh Street

    • 2500 block Front Street

    Auto burglary

    • Highway 80 West



Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Stalking — Joshua C. Buckley, 23, 911 25th St., Meridian.

    • Possession of cocaine — Robin Chaney, 39, 506 Front St., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Robert H. Crouch, 44, 7601 North Ninth Ave., Pensacola, Fla.

    • Probation violation — Robert E. Mosley II, 29, 4514 Highland Park Drive, Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Shelby J. Peevyhouse, 21, 293 Mt. Horeb Road, Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Theft

    • 3800 block Old Highway 19 SE., Meridian.

    Vandalism

    • 700 block Briarwood Road, Meridian.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



Marion Police  Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Medical assist, 30th Street
